Our Mission

Maasai Emayian Women’s Group is a registered community-based organization started by Maasai women near Kiserian, Kenya. MEWG’s mission is to empower Maasai women, educate children and improve living standards within their community.

We Need Your Help

Mostly illiterate and uneducated, MEWG’s members raise their families on an average of $40 per month. To raise funds for their campaigns, the women craft traditional beaded jewelry and artifacts.

MEWG works in a low-margin, high-competition market.

MEWG is currently searching for a sustainable market or distribution channel for their products.
